Gladys, a cherished member of our community, peacefully departed on March 31st, 2024, at St. Joseph West Hospital.

Born on December 5, 1938, Gladys spent her life spreading joy and kindness to all who knew her. She was a devoted mother, aunt, cousin and friend. She leaves behind her beloved son, Tim, of Wentzville, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. She is preceeded in death by her father, Edward Massmann, mother, Mabel Massmann (nee: Jaeger), husband, Floyd Colbert, brother, Elmer Massmann.

Gladys's faith was the cornerstone of her life and she was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville. She was baptized, confirmed, married and buried at Immanuel. She was an honorary member of Immanuel Ladies Aid, also known as Women In Mission.

Though she may be gone from our sight, Gladys will remain in our hearts, her memory a beacon of light guiding us through the darkest of days.
May she rest in eternal peace.
