For nearly twenty-five years she was on staff as the Church Clerk at Hopewell Missionary Baptist church Wentzville, MO in addition serving on the Executive Board and as a Church Usher. Melony professed her hope in Christ at an early age at Olivet Missionary Baptist church led by Reverend R.T. Davis. Throughout her Christian experience, she was active in youth development, education programs and supporting senior members.
