Carolyn Dina Holt, born January 4, 1942, in New Melle, MO to Harley and Lucille (Wippermann) Holt; granddaughter to Oscar and Laura (Almeling) Holt and John and Dina (Fuerman) Wippermann, and sister to Norbert Oscar Holt. She passed away on April 23, 2024.
She attended Wentzville schools, and received her college degree from Kirksville.
She worked for Continental Telephone, in accounting, budgeting, and administration in the states of Missouri, New York, Virginia, and Georgia.
After returning to Missouri, she was active in Real Estate and title Insurance, retiring in 2009.
As a survivor of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in 2006, she pursued the placement of AED’s (Automatic External Defibrillator) in police departments, schools, churches, etc., which was accomplished through presentations and videos of her story, fundraised through charity golf tournaments and donations.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, sister-in-law, Grace, and her brother, Norbert.
Carolyn is survived by her nieces, Lisa Alcorn, Tara (Tarrell) Robinson and families, and nephew, Craig (Carrie) Holt, and family, and many friends.
Her cremains are to be buried with her great grandfather, Edward Holt, at St. John’s UCC Cemetery in Cappeln, with private graveside service.
