Mr. Bergfeld is survived by his son, Kevin Bergfeld, O'Fallon, MO, daughter, Sharon (Steve) Ostmann of St.Charles, MO, daughter, Debra (David) Haskins of New Melle, MO, daughter, Cathy (Michael) Mack of St. Charles, daughter, Lorie (Greg) Wilson of St. Peters, MO, daughter, Jodi Bergfeld of Fenton, MO, brother, Kenneth Bergfeld of Wentzville, MO, sister, Shirley Bergfeld of St. Charles, MO, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Duane Bergfeld, father, Theodore H. Bergfeld, mother, Frieda Bergfeld nee Schuermann, wife, Jacquelyn Bergfeld nee Stewart, sister, Darleen Fahrenholtz. Mr. Bergfeld was the owner of A&B Construction, He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, and St. Charles Geneology Society. He was a volunteer fireman for Cottleville Fire Department. Served on the Thomas Howell Cemetery Board starting in 1966. He served in the US Army for 2 years during the Korean War.
