Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. Frances J. Malpocker nee Ross passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the age of 98 at Friendship Village in Chesterfield, Missouri. She was the beloved wife of Louis Malpocker. They were married almost 60 years before he died on Oct. 30, 1999. She is survived by her three sons, Ross Anthony Malpocker of St. Charles, MO, Louis Kenneth (Susan) Malpocker of St. Charles, MO and Frank Joseph (Nancy (deceased) Malpocker of O' Fallon, MO; two daughters, Camille (David) Claxton of Hutchinson, KS and Deborah (Dan) Thompson of O' Fallon, MO; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anna Ross, Spouse, Louis M. Malpocker, daughter, Judith Ann Fischer and two sisters, Dorothy Williams and Irene Ritter. She was born in Los Angeles, California, to Charles and Anna Ross on September 4, 1917. Before meeting the love of her life, she worked at Rexall Drugs where she met her lifelong girlfriends, the Gabbie Tabbies. She was a member of several Catholic Churches in the St. Louis area. After marriage she became a homemaker and full-time mom. She was active in the St. Paulís Motherís Club and Knights of Columbus ladies' auxiliary. Nevertheless, her main passion was spoiling her huge family with her culinary skills and comforts of her home. She is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
