Neva Wimberly Hardin passed away on January 13, 2017 at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of Truman Hardin. She is survived by two daughters, Marianna Hardin of Springfield, MO and Jeannine Spencer (Tim) of Lake St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law, Berthena Wimberly of Marionville, MO; four grandchildren, Jon and Caleb Spencer, Lindsey Miller (Kyle) and Lukas Hardin; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of longtime dear friends and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her father, Cordie Wimberly, her mother, Addie Wimberly, her sisters, Ruth Wimberly and Freeda Turner, her brothers, Gene, Paul and Roland Wimberly and her son, Michael Hardin. She and Truman were married for 41 years. Neva was an administrative assistant for a contractor in Springfield, worked at Missouri State in Admissions and Records and prepared taxes for H&R Block. She also volunteered was part of the auxiliary at Mercy Hospital. Neva’s greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. Reading was her favorite pastime, most notably her Bible. She loved to travel as well. Neva had a deep faith in God and went home to be with Him, free of the burdens of this world. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
