Albert Emil Mueller, Jr. of Weldon Springs passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the age 93 years.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Mueller of Weldon Spring; three children, Mark Mueller and wife, Ellen of Raleigh, NC, Steve Mueller and wife, Anna of Chesterfield, MO; and Laurie Finn and husband, Charlie of Bland, MO; six grandchildren, Andrew Mueller, Rachel Mueller, Joseph Mueller, Scott Finn, Lucas Mueller, and Margaret Mueller; seven great grandchildren, Natalie Mueller, Katherine Mueller, Rebecca Mueller, Ethan Mueller, William Mueller, Judah Mueller, and Emily Finn; brother-in-law, Don Schenk of O’Fallon, MO and sister-in-law, Hortense Mueller of St. Louis; other relatives, and many friends.
Albert proudly served his country during World War II from March 25, 1946 to April 6, 1947 in the United States Army having received the World War II Victory Medal. On October 20, 1950, Albert was united in marriage to Miss Loretta Kieffer and three children were born to this marriage. Albert was a retired member of St. Louis Carpenters Union. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville. He was an avid field trial participant and judge; having raised many bird dogs through the years. Albert will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by grandson, Kelly Finn; and four siblings, Earl Mueller, Roy Mueller and wife, Mary, Betty Mueller, and Shirley Schenck.
