Alice Paulette (Boyd) Bird

Alice Paulette Bird passed away on September 7, 2020 at the age of 72. She was the beloved wife of Richard Bird of Foristell, Missouri; She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Kevin) Thornton of New Melle, MO; son, Rich (Rachel) Brockman of Warrenton; four stepsons, John (Kristy) Bird of Boise, ID, Mike (Claudia) Bird of Stockton, MO, Dan Bird of Weston, MO, Dave Bird of Blue Springs, MO; two brothers, William Boyd, Mike (Betty) Boyd; two sisters, Christy Schmick, Janice (Roy) Stevens; grandchildren, Libby Thornton, Kaleb Brockman, Madeline Brockman, Derick Bird, Tyler Bird, Abby Bird, Alan Bird, ; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Bird, Tyson Bird;  She is preceded in death by her father, William  Boyd, mother, Stella Boyd, brother, John Boyd, sister, Ellen Stubblefield, sister, Bonnie Boyd. Alice loved her family and her job as a school bus driver and called them all "her kids". Alice was proud to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. She loved flowers, gardening, koi fish ponds, and collecting Jadite. Alice loved to travel and enjoyed visiting antique stores. She also loved to research family genealogy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will be having a private graveside service. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
