Alice Elsie Seymour, age 84, passed away at her home on December 2, 2025.
Alice dedicated her life to the Lord and to the service of others. She earned her Master’s Degree in Religious Education from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, a milestone that shaped her lifelong commitment to ministry and education. She faithfully served at Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky for 25 years as an Administration Assistant and Education Secretary. She later continued her ministry work at the Kentucky Baptist Convention in Louisville, where she was an Administrative Assistant in the Evangelism Department for 20 years.
Alice had a heart for people. Whether through her professional work, her volunteer efforts, or the countless small acts of kindness she offered daily. She especially cherished her role as an aunt.
Generous, humble, and steadfast in her faith, Alice leaves behind a legacy of service and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord she so faithfully served.
She is survived by her brother, Albert Seymour of Clinton, MO; her sister, Mary (David) Klee of Wentzville, MO; nephews, Elmer and Edward Seymour, and Brandon, Preston, and Harry Klee; nieces, Kristina, Mariah, Anna, and Christan Klee; as well as 12 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Seymour and Agnes (Dierks) Seymour.
