Arnold Dale Brummet, Jr 78 of Hunnewell, MO passed away on Saturday, November 19th, 2022, after a lengthy battle with renal failure and dialysis.
Arnold (Dale) was born Aug 27,1944; son of Arnold Dale Brummet Sr. and Gloria Jane Brummet (Reed).
He started his job at Union Electric (Ameren UE) as a welder and retired in 1999.
On April 3rd, 1963, Dale married the love of his life, Randee Sue Zink and four were born to this marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Randee Brummet; four children, Steven Brummet (Anita), Stacey Southard, Christy Hillner (Lee), and Jamie Colombini (Andrew); his brother-in-law, James John Zink Jr. (Betty) and by one sister, Nancy Blackwell.
Dale was a very caring and outspoken man. He loved telling stories, jokes, and giving advice to anyone. He enjoyed being in the spotlight and getting attention whenever he could. He was a family man. He enjoyed the outdoors. His love of hunting and fishing were known to many. He supported and loved his sports, especially football and hockey. Playing bingo and going out to eat were always on his to-do list.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Dale Sr. and Gloria Jane Brummet, his in-laws, James John Zink Sr. (Dink) and Frances Jane Zink (Sheesh). Waiting on him with open arms are 3 sisters: Susan Wolpers (Ron), Melanie Casey (Ted), Elizabeth Anderson (Bill), and his brother-through-friendship Joey Bauer.
He was the “Big Bummer” to his many work friends at UE, the “Big Kahuna” to most of the neighbors, or just well-known for his for his “little white lies” and blarney.
He was a great husband, father, grandfather (Pawpaw), great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to all. Lots of memories and stories to tell about his shenanigans.
