Barbara Lauterwasser (née: Pidcock) of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 70. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Lauterwasser; She is survived by her two daughters, Vanessa (Christopher) Lauterwasser-Doten of Wentzville, MO, Joelynn Lauterwasser of St. Louis, MO; sister, Carol (Allen) Niemann; grandchildren, Taya Lamberth and Brody Doten; She is preceded in death by her father, Max Pidcock, mother, Jeanette Pidcock (née: Rieger), and sister, Mary Lee Pidcock.
Barbara was united in marriage to Joseph, and together they shared 50 wonderful years of marriage before his passing this past February. Their loving union was blessed with two daughters.
Barbara was a faithful member of St. Gianna Catholic Church. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life and had many talents and interests. She loved sewing, gardening, and creating beautiful arts and crafts. She also enjoyed attending concerts, was a devoted listener of KSHE 95 and was an avid, devoted Saint Louis Blues Fan. Above all else, Barbara cherished her family. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially her grandson, Brody.
Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
