Barbara Jean (Becker) Saey

Barbara Saey of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the age of 68 years.

She is survived by her mother, Edna Becker of O'Fallon, MO; son, Jason Saey and wife, Kathy of Lake St. Louis, MO; sister, Pat Selvaggio and husband, Gary of Simpsonville, SC; brother, Randy Becker and fiancé, Shari Bellm of Melbourne, FL; sister-in-law, Theresa Miller of Warrenton, MO; three brothers-in-law, Paul Saey of Wentzville, MO, Mike Saey and wife, Loretta of Dardenne Prairie, MO, and Steve Saey and significant other, Dawn Pilkington of St. Louis; nieces and nephews, Andrea Hartman and husband, Nathan of Tampa, FL, Adam Becker and wife, Stina of Copenhagen, Denmark, Alex Becker and wife, Carla of Decatur, GA; Christine Selvaggio of Greenville, SC, Michael Selvaggio and wife, Mary of Greenville, SC, Tami Saey of St. Louis, Beth Bray and husband, Scott of O’Fallon, MO, Derek Saey of O’Fallon, MO, Adam Saey and wife, Lauren of O’Fallon, MO, Erin Carey and husband, Tim of Warrenton, Jessica Nave and husband, Josh of Warrenton, and Matt Miller of Warrenton; other relatives, and many friends.

Barbara Jean Saey was born July 18, 1953 in Jackson, Minnesota; daughter of Eugene Becker and wife, Edna Schlager Becker. She was married August 31, 1974 to Mr. Daniel Saey and one son was born to this marriage. She was a long-time employee with McCarthy Construction.

Barbara enjoyed “game night,” traveling, gambling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel September 12, 2021; her father, Eugene Becker, brother, Gary Becker, and sister-in-law, Karen Becker.

Memorials preferred to American Cancer Society.

Barb will be missed by her family and friends.
