With heavy hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of Barbara Strunk, a devoted daughter, loving sister, cherished mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many.

She was the beloved wife of the late Mark Strunk of Laguna Vista, Texas; She is survived by her mother, Mary Alice (Groeber) Seeburger; two daughters, Terri (Rick) Hulsey of Wentzville, MO, Lesley (Trey Gilbert) Bryant; son, Daniel (Ivonne) Strunk; brother, Dennis Schulze; sister, Diana (Bill) Nolle; sister-in-law, Vicki Jones; step-father, Allen Seeburger; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; and other beloved extended family. She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel William Schulze.

Barbara Strunk was the kind of person whose warmth could be felt the moment she entered a room. She lived her life with a gentle heart, a generous spirit, and a love that knew no limits. Her greatest joy was her family. Whether sharing stories, offering encouragement, or simply being present, she made each person feel deeply loved and valued.

She also found peace and happiness at the beach. The sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun, and the salty ocean breeze brought her comfort and joy. Many treasured memories were made with her by the water, surrounded by laughter and people she loved most.

As a mother, she guided with patience and unconditional love as a grandmother, she delighted in every hug, smile, and milestone creating memories that will be carried in the hearts of her grandchildren forever.  As a daughter and sister, she brought love, support, and a special bond that will be deeply missed. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family were the true treasures of her life.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we take comfort in knowing that her love remains with us always. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the lives she touched, and the countless beautiful moments shared together. She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, beloved family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Barbara Strunk's life will be held at a later date and location to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her memory by spending time with those you love, showing kindness to others, and whenever possible, enjoying the beauty of the beach she cherished so much.

“Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day.”

Forever loved.  Forever remembered.
