Barbara Ann Alexander (née: Bosch) of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on November 28, 2025 at the age of 80. She is survived by her two daughters, Jane Alexander of Lake Saint Louis, MO, Anne (Tom) Gross of Sunrise Beach; sister, Beverly Stewart of Kansas City; two grandchildren, Maggie (Jake) Hannasch of Carroll, IA, Alex (TJ) Schieber of Smithville, MO; great grandchildren, Waverly Hannasch, Walker Hannach, Thomas Schieber, Anderson Schieber; She is preceded in death by her father, William Bosch, Jr., Mother, Ruby Jean Bosch (née: Mitchell), brother, Robert Bosch.
Barbara was a dedicated educator and beloved professor whose passion for learning touched countless lives. She earned two master’s degrees: one in English from Northwest Missouri State University and another in Library Science from North Texas State University. Barbara was deeply committed to her students and colleagues, always encouraging a love of reading and writing.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Barbara found joy in traveling, exploring new places, and, above all, spending quality time with her family. She cherished staying in close contact with loved ones and was known for her warmth and kindness.
Barbara will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
