Betty (Schulenberg) Held

Betty Held nee Schulenberg passed away on August 13, 2025 at the age of 80. Betty was born August 24, 1944 in St. Louis, MO to Joseph and Mary Schulenberg nee Castulik.
Betty attended and graduated school from Rosati Kain Academy in St. Louis, MO. Betty married Otto Held and they celebrated 51wonderful years of marriage. Betty retired from Missouri Bank in 2024 with 44 years of service. Betty loved the beach, riding horses, reading, crossword puzzles, spending time in her pool with a good book, being outdoors and working in her yard. She was an avid golfer and belonged to a golf league at Warrenton Golf Course for 18 years. Betty was an animal lover, she had a special love for dogs, and had several rescue dogs. Betty loved spending time with her family and friends, enjoyed all holidays where she would make them all special. 

Betty is survived by her beloved husband Otto Held of Wright City, MO; son, Donald Held of Wright City, daughter, Robin (Dan Semanisin) Held of Highland, IL;brother, John Schulenberg of Wright City, MO; sister, Carol Bunton of Bellflower, and  granddaughter, Danielle  Semanisin;  She is preceded in death by her parents,  3 sisters, Mary  Schulenberg, Rose McCracken, Dolores Philyow and her niece. Betty's hard work, friendly smile and grace will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
