Brenda Jean (Gillette) Dierker

Brenda Jean (Gillette) Dierker was born in Herman, Mo on December 23, 1957 to Jesse Gillette and Nora (English) Gillette. She passed away peacefully on August 13, 2021 surrounded by family.  She was united in holy matrimony on September 30, 1976 to Mark Dierker in the union 2 children were born Aretha and Schrell Dierker.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Nora Gillette, daughter Schrell Dierker, brothers Larry, Jesse, Jackie Gillette.

Brenda was a loving, devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and all around caring person. She was soft spoken until you made her upset. She enjoyed watching Lifetime. She took pride organizing and cleaning, especially in her home. She will be missed as the attentive nurturer checking on everyone. Mark will miss his wife sitting in garage, going on rides, also going to the flea market on Sunday. She enjoyed rides looking at houses. 

Brenda and Aretha enjoyed going shopping, eating out, and going to the zoo together with her grandchildren. Recently Brenda was able to take a trip with Aretha and her grandchildren to Florida where they stayed at Airbnb a memory they will cherish forever. Brenda enjoyed the beach also did not mind staying in the Airbnb. She adored the house.

She was a dedicated, loyal, passionate employee who took pride in her work at Warren County School District in Food Service for nearly 15 years. She accumulated vacation she would NOT use because she said she was saving it for an emergency. She believed if her family needed her she was the caregiver and nurturer who was should be by their side. She also had 25 years in production.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Mark Dierker of nearly 45 years, one daughter Aretha Dierker, two grandsons Terrill Cotton Jr and Lavontre Dierker, and one granddaughter Treneece Cotton. one sister Theresa Gillette of Portland, OR.; Three brothers Kevin (Jenn) Gillette of Jonesburg, MO.; Vernon (Angela Rutledge) Gillette of Warrenton, MO and Stanley (Tracy Schultz Gillette of Springfield, MO.  Two aunts, Glenda (Kevin) Cole nee English and Shirley Davis, along with host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

We the family of Brenda Dierker would like to take the time to thank everyone for the kind words, thoughts, prayers  and all expressions of sympathy during our difficult time.
