Brian Jay Hussey

Brian Hussey, age 64, passed away on January 6, 2022. He was the husband of Karla Hussey nee Fox. They shared 45 wonderful years together. 
Born in Guymon, Oklahoma on September 17, 1957. He was the son of Sid and Wanda Hussey. He attended Hooker High School, and graduated with an Associate’s degree from ITT. He moved his family from Oklahoma to St. Peters, MO in the spring of 1994. Brian had recently retired in April from a lifetime of work in the construction industry. 
Brian was an avid woodworker, he enjoyed spending countless hours in his wood shop. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He grew up with a passion for hunting upland birds in the Oklahoma panhandle. He passed this passion on to his three boys.  Even more than that, he loved spending time with his family and spoiling all five of his grandchildren. He was a lifelong Oklahoma Sooners football fan. He was always front and center cheering his grandkids on as well. 
He will be remembered for his huge heart, and overall kindness to all. 
He is survived by wife, Karla Hussey; his three sons, Kory (fiancée Lori) Hussey of Wentzville, MO, Skyler (Ashley) Hussey of Silex, MO, Sinjin (Amanda) Hussey of Troy, MO; and five grandchildren, Lily, Hank, Silas, Waylon, and Laney. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sid and Wanda Hussey; brother, Kenny Hussey; brother-in-law, Troy Fox; father-in-law, Bill Fox; and mother-in-law, Lois Fox.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday January 13, 2022, at Pitman Funeral Home (1545 Wentzville Pkwy). The visitation will be held from 2-5 PM, immediately followed by a celebration of life.
