Candace Julia (Ficht) Staringer

Candace Staringer, 72 of Defiance, Missouri passed away on May 11, 2020 at St. Louis, Missouri. She was the beloved wife of Larry Staringer, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Leo Ficht, Jr. of Raleigh, NC and his son, Leo Ficht, III.  Candace was a member of New Melle Baptist Church, Boone Country Garden Club, and Boone Duden Historical Society. She proudly serviced our country in the U. S. Air Force for 7 years.  Candace graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia in 1969 and in her spare time enjoyed gardening, especially colorful and beautiful flowers.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Private graveside services will be held at Bellerive Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri for the family with a public visitation and funeral at a later date.
