Carl Melker Jr. of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 77. He was the beloved partner of his long-time companion the late Linda Wiese. He is survived by his long-time loving companion's children; Lori (Scott) Marty of Lake St. Louis, MO, Amanda (Joe) Fortner of Eureka, MO, Brian Wiese of St. Charles, MO; brother, Gary (Nancie) Melker of Pevely, MO; two sisters, Colleen Melker of St. Louis, MO, Leilani Mueller of St. Louis, MO; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Aidyn Rose, Reed, Kinley, Abigail, Emily and Tanner; He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Melker, Sr., mother, Marjorie Melker (nee: Bolhofner), sister, Dionna Melker.
He was the loving partner of Linda Wiese for over 20 years until her passing in 2012. Carl cherished their time together, building a life filled with love and shared adventures. A nature enthusiast, Carl found joy in hiking at the Missouri Confluence and exploring charming Amish towns. His passion for music reflected his vibrant spirit; he enjoyed a wide variety of genres, from Disney soundtracks to the timeless melodies of The Beatles. Carl's warmth and kindness touched the lives of those around him. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, love for all dogs, and the countless cherished memories he created with friends and family. His legacy of love and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
