Carol Marie (Roeder) Santens

Carol Marie Santens, of Wentzville, age 91 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 4, 2026.

Carol was born on November 23, 1934, in St. Louis City, Missouri to the late Wilbert and Louise Roeder .  She was preceded in death by her late beloved husband, Vernon Santens and her parents.

Carol is survived by her loving daughters, Kathy (Gregg) Pasdiora of Wentzville, Missouri and Laurie Clithero of Wentzville, Missouri; four cherished grandchildren, Bryan (Kyler) Saffo, Tyler Henke, Ross Henke, and Haley Clithero; and two adored great-grandchildren, Clara and Dominic Saffo.

Carol enjoyed spending time with her family particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  An avid reader, she also
loved to shop, travel and loved traveling to the beach.  Carol enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed all four seasons the midwest has to offer.   She particularly loved the fall season.

A true sports chick, Carol was an avid bowler, loved watching her St. Louis Cardinals, and also enjoyed hockey and football.  She was a devoted dog lover and enjoyed the challenge of putting together a picture puzzle.

Carol lived a full and wonderful life and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
