Charlene R. Schuette (née: Childs) of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on July 3, 2026 at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Schuette; She is survived by her son, Michael (Deborah) Schuette of Wentzville, MO; three daughters, Linda (Harold) Freymuth of Wentzville, MO, Cathy (Randy) Juergensmeyer of Troy, MO, Michelle (Mike) Menne of Troy, MO; four brothers, Bill (Gladys) Childs of Wentzville, MO, John Childs of Wentzville, MO, Gene (Pat) Childs of Troy, MO, Ralph (Jeannie) Childs of Wentzville, MO; four sisters, Ethel Fagin of Fenton, MO, Alice (Len) Boehmer of Wentzville, MO, Judy Childs of St. Peters, MO, Peggie Hudson of St. Louis, MO; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one on the way; She is preceded in death by her father, Ellis Childs, Mother, Theodora Childs (née: Ressel), daughter, Elaine Schuette.
Charlene was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ralph, and together they were blessed with five children.
A faithful member of St. Theodore Catholic Church, Charlene was also a devoted member of the St. Monica Sodality. Her faith guided her throughout her life and was reflected in the kindness and compassion she shared with others.
Charlene found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved traveling, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, embroidering, and spending peaceful days trout fishing. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she delighted in making the season magical for those she loved.
Having lived in Flint Hill for most of her life, Charlene treasured her community and the many friendships she made over the years. She loved spending time with her family and friends and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
