Charles George Obituary

Charles Herbert George  passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband of Marie George nee Simpson of O'Fallon, Missouri; He is survived by his son, Rodney (Lisa Wood) George of Naples, FL; daughter, Karen (Dennis) Forrester of Lake St. Louis, MO; grandson, Chad George; two granddaughters, Tiffany (Andy) George, Rachael (Eric) George; three great-grandchildren, Hayden Engles, Grayson Engles, Henry Turin;  He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Hadley George, mother, Ruth Ione George, brother, Jerry Wallace George, grandson, Michael Forrester, great-grandson, Dustyn Brasel. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake St. Louis. He enjoyed golf and square dancing. He was the "toy" for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles was married to Marie Simpson on November 4, 1948 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
