Charles "Charlie" G. Snyder, Jr. of Lake St. Louis, Missouri passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 87 years.
He is survived by his wife Dolores Snyder (nee Tamulis) of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; his five children, Charles Snyder of St. Louis, MO, Deborah (Douglas) Sproat of Wentzville, MO, Thomas Snyder of Troy, MO, Patricia (Coyte Bryson) Moushey of Lake St. Louis, MO, Dolores "Lori" (Reid) Spencer of Wright City, MO; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family; and his dog, Mitzi.
Charlie Snyder, Jr. was born on September 5, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA; son of the late Charles G. Snyder, Sr. and Marguerite Martinez. Charlie and his wife Dolores (who he liked to spoil) were married September 10, 1955 at the Holy Innocents Church in Philadelphia, PA and celebrate 67 years of marriage. He served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy. He had many interests including playing golf, fishing, bowling, trying his luck at the casino slots, horse racing at Fairmount Park, and traveling. He was a hard working and compassionate man, and an amazing father and grandfather who had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and eight sisters.
