Charles "Chuck" Wright

Charles "Chuck" Wright of St. Paul, Missouri, passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 83. He is survived by his beloved wife Jane Wright (née: Stahlschmidt) of St. Paul, Missouri; his children, Stephen (Jamie) Wright of St. Paul, MO, Laura (Bill) Alterson of St. Paul, MO, Karen (Mark) Augustyn of St. Charles, MO; sister, Doris (Leo) Bastean of Troy, MO; grandchildren, Zach, Austin, Brennan, Andy, Emily, Danny and Sarah; three great grandchildren; He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Wright, mother, Amelia Wright (née: Koltmeyer). 

Charles was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army. He shared a loving marriage with Jane, and together they were blessed with three children: Stephen, Laura, and Karen. Charles was a devoted member of St. Paul Catholic Church and spent 30 years working at McDonnell Douglas, retiring at the age of 55.
After retirement, Charles embraced life to the fullest. He enjoyed traveling, watching all kinds of sports, and especially loved cheering on his grandchildren during their games. He found great joy in spending time outdoors, whether he was on his tractor or tending to his property.

Above all, Charles treasured time spent with his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Memorials: In honor of Chuck, memorials may be made to: Masses or to St. Paul Youth Sports Association, in care of Pitman Funeral Home 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, MO. 63385
