Charlotte Allen of Defiance, Missouri, passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Willard Allen; She is survived by her two sons, Dale W. (Ginny) Stevener, Mike L. (Kelly) Stevener; brother, Earl (Charlyne) Jungermann; sister, Ann (Raymond-deceased) Boehmer; sister-in-law, Angie Jungermann); grandchildren, Tyson (Carrie) Stevener, Matthew Stevener, Melissa (Chris) Young, Courtney (Brad) Wegman, and Jordan (John) Chamberlin; great grandchildren, Hayden, Bennett, Camden, Baker, Brendan, and Brynn; many nieces, nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her Father, Clarence Jungermann, Mother, Leora Jungermann (née: Kneemiller), first husband, Albert Stevener, brother, Fred Jungermann, sister, Dorothy (Woodrow) Mound, sister, Alice (Raymond) Benne, sister, Edith (Norbert) Benne, grandchild, Patrick Stevener.  

Charlotte worked at Bill’s Country Meats in New Melle, a drug package in O’Fallon, Missouri, the New Melle Restaurant, and the Bavarian Smoke House throughout her life. She was a hardworking woman who never met a stranger and truly enjoyed being around people. 

She enjoyed playing softball, cooking, and traveling with Will, creating many cherished memories along the way. One of her greatest joys was supporting her sons and attending all of their sporting events. 

Charlotte will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
