Charmaine B. (Bellamy) Post

It is with prfound sadness that we announce the passing of Charmaine Bellamy Post, age 89 of Foristell, MO, who passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025. 

She was proceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Alvin Anthony Post Sr. 

Charmaine was born in Batesville, Arkansas to George Edward Bellamy and Emma Elizabeth Hamilton Bellamy (nee: Ganahl) on February 25, 1936. 

Charmaine married Alvin on May 17th, 1952. She was a devoted wife to Alvin and mother of 6 children. She was a homemaker, enjoyed crafting, growing flowers, gardening, reading and having parties for her grandchildren and great grandchildren on all holidays. There was an open invitation to all for Sunday dinner. She enjoyed travelling and she visted all the 49 continous states, missing only Hawaii. 

Charmaine was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church for 69 years. 

She is survived by all six of her children. Elizabeth (Dennis) Sheehan, Dianne (Timothy) Almeling, Alvin (Kathy) Post Jr., Barbara Turpin, Carol (Kim) Farley and Scott (Sandy) Post, 17 grandchildren plus two bonus grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, one brother, George Whitfield Bellamy (Kitty) of Weldon Springs, MO, three half-brothers, John Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, SC, David Bellamy and Bill Bellamy of Springfield, MO. 

Charmaine was preceded in death by her Mother Emma Bellamy (nee:Ganahl), Father George Bellamy, Brother Harold Bellamy, half-brother Paul Kiester and her son-in-law Jeffrey R. Turpin.
