Curtis "Pa" Turpen

Curtis Ray ("Pa") Turpen passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 79. Curtis was born August 19, 1946, son of Earl and Ruth Turpen. He and his wife, Alma were married January 13, 1962 and together they raised two children, Curtis and Debbie.  They were married 63 years prior to Curtis's passing. "Pa" was a retired electrician at General Motors and a member of Local 2250 UAW.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Alma Turpen neé Butler; his son, Curtis (Dianne) Turpen; daughter, Debra (Steven) Morrow; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Ted) Phillips, Jill (Aaron) Francis, Zachery (Lisa) Turpen, Jesse Smiley; five great-grandchildren, Curtis, Paden, Ruby, Taylor, and Josephine; sister-in-law, Laverne Turpen; and Lucy, his canine companion; along with many extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Turpen, mother, Ruth Turpen neé Nash, brother, Jack Turpen, and sister, Frances "Sally" Turpen. 

Pa loved spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
