Daniel "Jack" Jackson Bullock passed away on November 27, 2025 at the age of 87.
Jack was born January 25, 1938 in Peoria, IL to Luther "Luke" and Pauline (Miller) Bullock. Jack served his country in the United States Marines Corp proudly from 1955-1958.
He worked for Lever Brothers Company for 31 years before retiring. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed talking about the old days. Jack found joy in hunting, fishing, and playing pool. He also loved playing his guitar and singing, especially at family gatherings. One of his greatest pleasures was visiting the nursing homes in Troy, where he played music for the residents and brightened their day with his songs.
Jack cherished hosting the annual family reunion at Bear Bottom Resort-family meant everything to him. He also loved playing basketball with his grandkids, creating memories they will hold close forever.
He is survived by his son, Daniel "Jack" (Layna) Bullock; daughter, Terri Lynn (Robert) Werner; step-daughter, Angie (Rick) Ponder; two brothers, Ronny Bullock, Don (Georgia) Bullock; sister, Vickie (Mike) Lehmann; 14 grandchildren, Jennifer Malicke, Justin Garner, Jami Cook, Wesley Werner, Maddison (Michael) Banks, Kennady Bullock, Shane Ponder, Skyler Ponder, Austin Ponder, Shannon Franz, John Tremble, Hannah Thorpe Billy Finn, Douglas Finn; 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bullock, father, Luther "Luke" Bullock, mother, Yvette Pauline Bullock, brothers, Sydney Miller, Larry (Judy) Bullock, and Rick Bullock, sisters, Linda Jones and Sharon (Cal) Callahan, step-daughters, Sherry Smith and Elva (Fred) Ferguson, step-son, Bill Finn.
Jack will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
