Daniel "Dan" Ray Bockhorst

Daniel "Dan" Ray Bockhorst of Wright City, MO passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 67.  Dan was born April 25, 1956 in Washington, MO, son of the late Delbert and Ruby (Estill) Bockhorst of Wright City, MO.    

He is survived by his brother, William "Bill" (Sharon (Schulz)) Bockhorst of Foristell, MO; nephew, Kraig (Renee Klautzer) Bockhorst of Lake St. Louis, MO; niece, Tara (Jason) Prewitt (Bockhorst) of Wentzville, MO; nine nieces and nephews, Brittany (Diego) Baez (Bockhorst) of McDonald, TN, Morgan (Geoff Green) Bockhorst of Foristell, MO, Nicholas Bockhorst of O'Fallon, MO, Jillian Bockhorst of O'Fallon, MO, Audrey Bockhorst of O'Fallon, MO, Alyssa Prewitt of Wentzville, MO, Breanna Prewitt of Wentzville, MO, Jessica Whitehead of Wentzville, MO, Taylor Whitehead of Woodbridge, VA; four great nieces and nephews, Isabelle Baez of McDonald, TN, Rosalyn Green of Foristell, MO, Wilson Green of Foristell, MO, Morgan Green of Foristell, MO;  He is preceded in death by his father, Delbert Henry Bockhorst, mother, Ruby Hawkins (Estill) Bockhorst.  

Dan was a loving caregiver for his parents and his brother when they were ill.  He enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, and he liked old cars, specifically old Plymouth and Chrysler models.  Most of all, he was a loving brother and uncle who never missed a family gathering.
