David Gentry

Willard "David" Gentry  passed away on March 19, 2020 at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of Patricia "Pat" Gentry of New Melle, Missouri; He is survived by his four sons, Mike Gentry, Matt (Jennifer) Gentry, Mark (Amy) Gentry, Mitch Gentry; two daughters, Kathy (Dave) Bamert, Maggie (Kerry) Robinson; 20 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen (Ralph) Reynolds, JoAnn (the late Gerhard Flegel) Flegel; several nieces, nephews and other relatives;  He is preceded in death by his father, Willard Roy Gentry, mother, Helen  Delores Broadwater. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to St. Vincent DePaul Society at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385.

David was with the Florissant Valley Fire Protection District from December 1,1966 through July 1, 1993. He was the President of local #1930 IAFF. David was a devoted member of Immaculate Heart of Mary and of Knights of Columbus in New Melle.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
