David Allen Gluntz

August 28, 1946 ~ May 12, 2022 (age 75)


David Allen Gluntz of Warrenton, MO passed away on May 12, 2022 at the age of 75.  He was born August 28, 1946 to the late Allen and Shirley Gluntz nee Link.
David graduated from the University of Missouri -Rolla in 1969 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He worked hard to get through school and was very proud of his degree.   So proud he wore his college ring for the rest of his life. He taught his children and grandchildren about working hard and taking pride in what you do. He worked as an engineer for many years then developed and ran his own advertising sales company.
David married Lynn Miller  in Florissant, MO in 1968.  Together they built and enjoyed a good life for the next 53+ years.  He had a passion for Mopar cars his entire life and attended car shows with Lynn. He also coached Special Olympics 3 on 3 basketball and Track and Field for many years.  He was a life long Cardinals fan.  But his greatest joy and pride were his children and grandchildren. 
He and his grin will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Lynn of Warrenton;  son, Scott (Shari) Gluntz of Niagara Falls, Ontario; daughter, Becky Cabello, O'Fallon, MO; three grandchildren, Celina (Will) Crawford, Winfield, MO; Kayla Gluntz, Lexington, KY; Blake Cabello, O'Fallon, MO; two great grandchildren, Arabella Crawford and Natalia Crawford;  sister, Diane Nichols of Medical Lake, WA; brother, Doug (Jeannie) Gluntz of O'Fallon, MO; sisters in law, Karen Corzine of Orange City, FL and Michele Padilla of Covis, CA; brother in law Kim (Martha) Green of Veedersbirg, IN.
David is preceded in death by his parents Allen Gluntz and Shirley Wilson, grandparents, Theodore and Esther Link and Elmer and Alice Gluntz and 2 brothers in law Reggie Nichols and Charles Corzine.
