David Hickey

David Hickey passed away on March 15, 2021 at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of the late Carol Hickey nee Smith of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He is survived by his two sons, Joseph (Caroline) Hickey of Salt Lake City, UT, Patrick (LeAnn) Hickey of Wentzville, MO; daughter, Mary Beth (Dave) Billingsley of Parker, CO; three sisters, Elizabeth Schuler of Waverly, IA, Kathleen (Michael) McDonough of Jefferson, LA, Margaret (Richard) Holden of Oconomowoc, WI; eight grandchildren, David Joseph II, Jacob, Danielle, Caroline, and Darci Hickey, Katherine (Mason) Lewis, Kerri (Sean) Maloney, Timothy (Hannah) Billingsley; and five great-grandchildren, Avery Kate, Truett, Blaire, and Logan Lewis, and Madison Maloney.  He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Leo Hickey; mother, Edna Mary Hickey;  brothers, Richard Hickey, Robert Hickey; and sisters, Ann Hickey, Mary  Katherine.  David was a  member of congregation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dardenne, MO as well as several other organizations including the Wentzville Rotary Club, Wentzville VFW, and Wentzville Chamber of Commerce. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War and participated in the Honor Flight in November 2019.  He will always be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
