Dean Eplett

Dean Eplett passed away in St. Louis, MO on November 29, 2021 at the age of 53. He was the beloved husband of 28 years of Kim Eplett nee George of O' Fallon, Missouri; He is survived by his wife; five children, Daniel (Madison) Eplett of Wright City, MO, Scott Eplett of O'Fallon, MO, Bryan Eplett of O'Fallon, MO, Sarah Eplett of O'Fallon, MO, and Dana Eplett of O'Fallon, MO; his parents, Paul E. and Kathleen S. Eplett nee Truax of Penetang, ON; three brothers, Mark Eplett of Toronto, ON, Glen Eplett of Toronto, ON, and Michael Siy of Wentzville, MO; two sisters, Jane (Paul) DeCola of Barrie, ON and Anne Koukol of Calgary, AB; and light of his life, grandson, Liam Eplett (Billy Bob).

Dean loved his kids and spending time with them.  He spent as much time as he could with his children in many adventuresome ways; such as cutting wood, working on cars, smoking meat, and aggravating them just to make sure they were paying attention.  He enjoyed time spent with his children's friends as well, and was looked upon as a second Dad to many. Together Kim and Dean built an amazing life.  He will always live in our hearts and leaves behind many memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
