Doyle Dean Jackson
January 23, 1937 - May 4, 2026.
Born in Portageville, MO. He was a graduate of Central High School, St. Louis, MO, and a Member of the St.Patrick’s Church in Jonesburg, MO.
Doyle is preceded in death by his late beloved wife, Dianna Mae Bereuter Jackson of St. Louis and celebrated 58 years, before her passing. Parents, Harvey Louis Jackson and Ina Lorraine Permenter Jackson; Brothers, Archie Paul Jackson, Harvey Louis and Martha Jackson, Arnold Gene Jackson; Sisters, Deloma and John Hoffman, Palma Lee McKee; Sister-in-law, Norma Jackson, Norma Bereuter; Nephew, Timothy Cool.
Doyle was a wonderful Husband, Father, Brother, and Beloved Uncle. Ironworker Union 396, Army Reserve Sharp Shooter Rifleman, Cowboy, Real Estate Entrepreneur and Developer.
Dean loved Deats and was her biggest fan. He loved horses, rodeo’s and morning coffee with her. He was a man of deep faith. He loved hunting and fishing, telling stories and he loved a good joke. He loved singing and playing music with his family. His job was playing spoons which he took seriously with a big smile. He was proud of his many nieces and nephews.
He developed the first 3-5 acre tracts in St. Charles County. He raised his family in New Melle, MO and developed subdivisions like Flint Hill Estates, Flint Lock Estates, New Melle Woods and more. He was a teacher and mentor to many and always was willing to give his advice and share his experiences. He never judged anyone, he just enjoyed their company. He had kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need. He never knew a stranger even if he had forgotten their name.
He is survived by his children; Brian and Jennifer Jackson, Stacy and Tom Vehige. Brothers-in- Law, Allen (Whitey) McKee and Darrell (Donna) Bereuter; Sister-in-Law, Mary Ellen Jackson; Grandchildren, Justin Vehige, Kyle and Jera Vehige, Alyssa Jackson, Grace Vehige and Brenden Jackson; Great Grandson, Stetson Vehige; Beloved Nieces and nephews; Godchildren, Marla OHanlon and Karen Niemi.
