Dean V. Skelton passed away in Lake St. Louis on February 22, 2021 at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Patsey Easley Skelton of Wentzville, Missouri; seven sons, Greg (Rhonda) Skelton of St. Charles, MO, Glenn (Angie) Skelton of Marthasville, MO, Gordon (Adrienne) Skelton of St. Charles, MO, David Booker of Kaufman, TX, Patrick (Jeannie) Weston of Kirksville, MO, Timothy (Trish) Weston of Granbury, TX, Daniel (Tina) Weston of Wentzville, MO; two daughters, Jennifer (Steve) Russell of Willow Springs, MO, Niki (Victor) Ledger of St. Amant, LA; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Dean was born on November 12, 1932 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to George V. and Della Redell Skelton. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wentzville where he served in the church choir. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force where he also participated in the Air Force Band. He and his wife were volunteers of Wings of Hope for many years. His hobbies included photography, fishing, hunting, researching family ancestry, along with his special interest in model trains. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
