Deborah Kay Nash passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 67. She was taken from us too soon and unexpectedly. Deborah was born April 17, 1958 in Fairfield, IA to the late Richard and Dolores Nash nee Emry.
Debbie wore many hats in her life. Her number one role was being a grandma. She idolized her granddaughter Sara. She would do anything for anyone if it was possible. She worked diligently for the American Legion. She has volunteered for almost 20 years. She helps with bingo on Friday nights with the Legion. She’s also president of the Auxiliary bingo and was the Auxiliary President for 8 years. She runs bingo like a well oiled machine. Her attention to detail is amazing. She is meticulous in doing everything according to the gaming commission. With her leadership she has independently led us to our success in our unit. She has been much appreciated. She will never be replaced. She’s a loyal daughter, friend, co-worker, mother, sister, cousin, niece and grandmother. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She can never be replaced.
Debbie is survived by her son, Dan (Stacy) Nash of Wentzville, MO; granddaughter, Sara Nash; sister, Diane Sue (Richard) Anselm of Wentzville, MO; nephew, Rick (Jamie) Anselm; great-nephews, Cooper and Tate Anselm; and other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard S. and Dolores J. (Emry) Nash.
