Dennis O. York

Dennis O. York of Wentzville, MO passed away on December 29, 2024.

Dennis was born January 15, 1956 in Harrisburg, IL to Everett and Genevieve (McGill) York.  He was a graduate of Wentzville High School and worked for the City of Clayton until his retirement.

Dennis loved bowling, car racing, working on cars, hanging out with his friends in the breakfast club, and spending time with family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by both his parents, his sister Tina Smith, brother, Leonard York, and nephew, Jeffrey York. 

He is survived by his brother, Jerry (Debbie) York; special friend, Brenda McAtee; niece, Stacey (Christian) Klein and their children, Catherine, Elizabeth, and Christian II; nephew, Zack York; niece, Allysia (Will) McKinney and their children, Dax and Nash; and nephew, Dakota (Cheyenne) Stroman, and their child, Adelynn.  

Dennis was an all-around kind and giving person who loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by many.
