Don lived a life marked by dedication and service. Don married Jeannette “Jean” Musil in Milwaukee on May 8, 1954. Together they raised three children: Kenneth, Deborah “Debbie”, and Dennis.

Don proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Tank Driver, driving the illustrious M4A3 Sherman Tank, during the Korean War. He ascended to the rank of Staff Sargent during his time in the Army. His commitment to duty and his contributions to the nation were a source of pride throughout his life. Don proudly wore his Korea Veteran hats everywhere he went in public, and lit up anytime he was thanked for his service.

Following his military service, Don returned home to the Greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin area where he embarked on a 34 year career with United Parcel Service (UPS). Don was recognized for his excellence and dedication by receiving the annual Safe Driver Award for his work. At the time of his retirement, Don had the second longest record for safe driving in the entire state of Wisconsin.

In addition to his professional achievements, Don found joy in woodworking. His craftsmanship reflected his patience and skill, leaving behind creations that will be cherished by those who knew him.
