Donald "Don" R. Kammeier passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 75. He is survived by his son, Nate W. (Morgan) Kammeier of Wright City, MO; three daughters, Jill (Tom) Mossinghoff of Wentzville, MO, Jessica Kammeier of Wright City, MO, and Stacey Manner of Troy, MO; eight grandchildren, Brendan (Molly), Owen, Elizabeth, Kaleb, Emma, Alyse, Abby, and Molly; He is preceded in death by his father, Carl H. Kammeier, mother, Erma Kammeier (nee Schknecht), sister, Pat Dockler, and granddaughter, Lilly.
Don was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He also enjoyed the occasional thrill of gambling, the comfort of watching old TV shows, and relaxing evenings spent with friends at the Wentzville Lounge, sharing stories and laughter. Farming wasn’t just his work-it was his passion. The farm was where he felt most fulfilled, connected to the land and the life he built with his own hands.
Above all, his greatest love was for his family. He adored his children and grandchildren, and nothing made him prouder than watching them grow. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
