Dorothy E (McCarthy) Ebert

Dorothy E. Ebert passed away on September 1, 2020 at the age of 90. 
She was born February 7, 1930 in St. Louis, MO to Justin and Marie McCarthy, Jr. nee Boyle.
She was a very active lifetime member of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Parish, in Florissant, MO. Dorothy trained as a nurse at DePaul School of Nursing and enjoyed being a lifetime caregiver to many friends and family. She worked for 25 years as a legal secretary with her husband in his law practice .  Her hobbies included gardening, reading, playing bridge, dancing and entertaining friends.  Her greatest love was spending time with her family, including all her children,  grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Dorothy is survived by her children Nancy (Randy) Lamb of Kirkwood, MO,  Michael (Marianne) Ebert of Atkinson, NH, Daniel (Susan) Ebert of Wentzville, MO, Donald (Karen) Ebert of Irvine, CA, Robert (Darla) Ebert Jr. of Creve Coeur, Katy (Brian) Cushing of Wentzville, MO;   brother, Justin McCarthy, III of St. Louis, MO; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Justin McCarthy, Jr., mother, Marie McCarthy; husband, Robert Ebert, Sr.; sister, Marie Dolan and granddaughter, Elizabeth Long. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
