Ed Ohlms of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 66. He is survived by his beloved wife, Vicky Ohlms (née: Gronefeld) of Saint Peters, Missouri; three children, John E. Ohlms of St. Charles, MO, Jacob S. (Julie) Ohlms of Wentzville, MO, Julie R. (Cody) Anno of Baldwin City, KS; five siblings, Michael (Pam) Ohlms of Old Monroe, MO, Elaine (Jim) Bethmann of St. Peters, MO, Ron (Jean) Ohlms of Wentzville, MO, Gail Groeblinghoff of O' Fallon, MO, Roger (Katie) Ohlms of Wentzville, MO; grandchildren, Stella Ohlms, Everett Ohlms, Rutledge Anno, and Edward (Hayes) Anno; He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ohlms, mother, Helen Ohlms (née: Simon).
Edward “Ed” was united in marriage to Vicky, and together they were blessed with three children: John, Jacob, and Julie.
Ed was a devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church and proudly belonged to Laborers Local 42. He was known for his hardworking nature, generous spirit, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Ed enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, traveling, smoking cigars, and playing golf. He especially enjoyed frying fish, BBQs, and sharing drinks. A true handyman, Ed could fix just about anything and enjoyed spending his time working on projects and watching old westerns.
Ed enjoyed helping out with sports whether it was with local teams or cheering from the stands as his grandchildren played, but most of all he loved his family and friends and spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
