Elmer Herman Benz

Elmer Herman Benz passed away on November 21, 2021 at the age of 90. Elmer was born October 13, 1931 in St. Louis, MO to Herman and Helen Benz. 

Elmer loved small engine repair. Elmer was a Sunday school teacher and youth leader at St. Peters UCC Ferguson, was a Boy Scout Troop Leader for St. Peters UCC Ferguson Troop 383 and enjoyed camping with the scouts, Elmer was an outdoorsman and enjoyed canoe trips on the Gasconade River. Elmer served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. 

He is survived by his two sons, Mike (Laurie) Benz of Marthasville, MO, Duane Benz of Oconomowac, WI; 8 grandchildren, Aaron, Courtney, Tyler ,Abby, Ally, Analise, Alana, and Nathan. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Otto Benz, mother, Helen Benz.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him
