Eugene W Schaeffer, Jr.

Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Eugene W. Schaeffer Jr. passed away on June 21, 2020 at the age of 81.
Eugene was born August 16, 1938 to Eugene and Mary Schaeffer nee Roth.
Eugene was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Wentzville and Knights of Columbus St. Patrick Church and American Legion Post 1000. Eugene served in the U.S. Army as Military Police. Eugene retired from St. Peter's Police, St. Peters, MO.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Eugene is survived by his beloved wife Lois Schaeffer-Hoelscher nee Terveer of Wentzville, Missouri; two sons, Eugene Schaeffer of Boston, MA, Christopher (Colleen) Schaeffer of Lake St. Louis, MO; daughter, Stephanie (Spencer) Couturier of Wentzville, MO; step-son, Ray (Kris) Hoelscher of Wentzville, MO; step-daughter, Joyce (Mike) Scott of Flint Hill, MO; brother, Phillip Schaeffer of Wentzville, MO; sister, Emily (Larry) Chinnock of NJ; daughter-in-law, Mary Schaeffer; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren;  He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Schaeffer, mother, Mary Schaeffer, son, Lawrence Schaeffer, brother, Paul Schaeffer. 

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Masses at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Wentzville in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 248 Wentzville, MO 63385.
