Faithann Mozee Obituary

Faithann Mozee, of Wright City, MO, passed away January 30, 2025 at the age of 63. She was born in St. Charles, MO, daughter of Truman and Marlene (nee. Edelen) Sylcox. 

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Mozee; three children, Ronald (Alecia) Sylcox, Sr. of Moscow Mills, MO, Crystal (Gary) Clark of Wright City, MO, and Tiffany Mozee of O’Fallon, IL; five step-children, Brian Mozee of Columbia, MO, Richard Mozee of St. Louis, MO, Pauline Stevens of St. Louis, MO, Melissa Mozee of Vandalia, IL, and Felita Moore of St. Louis, MO; sister, Carrie May Sylcox of Wright City; seven grandchildren, Monique Price, Sade Price, Kiara Price, Hailey Sylcox, Ronald Verdell Sylcox, Jr., and Jordan Sylcox, Trinity Sylcox; two great-grandchildren, Jay Buckingham and Annilyn Buckingham. Faithann is preceded in death by her father, Truman Verdell Sylcox, her mother, Marlene (Edelen) Sylcox, grandparents, Elman and Oma Sylcox and Cecil and Carrie “Mabel” Edelen, uncle, Lee Sylcox, aunt, Kathy Mozee, and her two special cats, Jasmine and Misty. 

Faithann enjoyed reading books, crocheting, and watching Hallmark Channel, especially Christmas movies.  She was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoyed cheering them on. She liked listening to music, especially Prince and Elvis.  She was known as “The Cat Mom”, she had too many to mention and enjoyed caring for them.  Her greatest joy was her love for her family and time spent with them.  

Family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
