Francis William “Frank” Dusenberg, of Jonesburg, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, at the age of 88.
Frank was born on February 14, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Vernon Dusenberg and Agnes Wells nee Herbel. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life, working for Unique Automotive in Jonesburg.
Frank enjoyed the simpler things in life. He loved fishing, relaxing on the carport with a cold Busch beer, scratching lottery tickets, watching old westerns and fishing shows, and spending time with his family. He also loved to go dancing and play pool famous for winning games back in the day using nothing more than a broomstick handle.
Frank is survived by his children, Frank Dusenberg and Carol (Richard) Corder, both of Jonesburg, MO; his siblings Gary (Donna) Dusenberg, Nancy (Harold) Morris, Mary Dusenberg, and Sherri (Jonathan) VanGrevenhof; six grandchildren, Frankie Dusenberg Jr., Juanita (Billy) Kurtz, Trina (Dustin) Reames, Jeremy Dusenberg, Johnny Olds, and Nakesha Alfred; as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who lovingly carry on his spirit.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Dusenberg, parents, stepfather J.C. Wells; brothers Bruce Wells, Jeffrey Wells, and George Wells; and sisters Sue Erwin and Scarlett Waldschlager.
Frank will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His easygoing spirit, and love for life will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
