Frankyln Ronald Jones

Ron Jones passed away December 22, 2024 at his home in St. Peters. MO. Longtime resident of Concord, NC, avid golfer, dog lover, enjoyed Westerns, and a friend of many.

Born on November 6, 1940 at City Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was married to Rachel Frantz Jones 1993-2016 (deceased). Ron served in the Missouri Army National Guard (Sergeant), 8 years as a Missouri State Highway Patrolman, Troop C and Contel in various positions.

Ron is survived by his son David Jones and his wife Becky of O’Fallon MO, grandchildren Evan Saint Cloud and husband Kyle, Peyton Edwards and husband Jonathan, Olivia, Camryn, Maxwell and Mitchell Jones, and sister Nelda Walker. Preceded in death by parents Grace Shafferkoetter Jones and William Harvey Jones, siblings Juanita Arand, Eliczene Koppleman, Delmar Jones, Doris Williams, Rita Jones, Richard Jones, James Jones, Jacquelyn Tyree, and Ron’s twin, Donald.

Internment at Mount Hermon Cemetery Lutheran Church in Concord, North Carolina. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County, 2010 Wilshire Ct. SW, Concord, NC 28025, or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 11796, Charlotte, NC 28220.
