Freddie Raymond Perkins passed away on March 25, 2026 at the age of 87.
Freddie Raymond was born August 29, 1938 in Maries County, MO at home, the doctor was paid a sheep, which was loaded into the back of his car for the ride home. Freddie rode his horse to school daily. During High School Freddie played basketball was offered a scholarship to college. Instead Freddie went into the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years as a cryptographer.
After Fred's service to his country he came back to work for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft with great pride, and took great pride in buying American made as a Union member. Freddie gave his life to Jesus as a young father, he helped start the St. Peters Christian Church in St. Peters, MO, and he helped founded the Warrenton Christian Church, on his front porch in the 1980's.
Freddie retired from McDonnell Douglas to drive his tractor and mow the grass on his property in Warrenton, he loved taking care of his yard. Fred loved his church family at Warrenton Christian Church, and of course his own family including his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, they were his greatest pride and joys.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife Judith Perkins nee Hesse of Warrenton, MO; his children Freddie Ray (Amy) Perkins, Michael Perkins, Linda Wright, Jennifer (Travis) Miller, Ira (Christy) Goeddel, Heidi Straub; four grandchildren, Tabatha Simpson, Kassy (Ben) Englert, Emily (Sam) Dencker, Esslie (Nathan) Davis; 11 great-grandchildren, Madison Miller, Dillon Miller, Charlee Englert, Morgan Simpson, Aberey Simpson, Ethnie Dencker, Jacob Dencker, Sadie Dencker, Harriette Englert, Stella Davis, Otis Englert, and other great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Babe Ira Lewis Perkins, mother, Esslie Mable Perkins, brother, Bob Perkins, brother, Myrl Perkins, sister, Anna Newby, sister, Mary Ruth York and son-in-law, Charlie Wright.
