Freddie Bachman Obituary

Freddie Dick Bachman passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at the age of 73 years.

 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Bachman of Wentzville, Missouri; two sons, Paul (Kara) Bachman and Mark Bachman; daughter, Molly (Dan Gunter) Dunsworth; five grandsons, Christopher Bachman, Gavin Brown, Ethan Dunsworth, Harrison Dunsworth, and Wesley Gunter; two granddaughters, Makena Bachman and Nora  Dunsworth; sister-in-law, Rose Hollocher; two nephews, Jim Kallaos and Phillip Kallaos; and niece, Jill Schroeder. 

Freddie was born June 13, 1947 in St. Louis son of the late Phillip Chester Bachman and his wife, Emma Lee Pierce Bachman. He served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1966-1970. Freddie married Janet Nieroda on June 22, 1968 at St. Stanislaus Church in St. Louis and three children were born to this marriage. Freddie served as a Policeman from 1970 until 2005 with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. He later worked security at the Grand Center Arts Academy and the Fox Theatre. He was a member of the American Legion and the St. Louis Police Association. 

He was preceded in death his sister, Fammie Kallaos.
