Freedom Cook

Freedom Cook of Defiance, Missouri passed away at St. Louis University Hospital October 26, 2025.  Freedom was born February 15, 1976 at Camp Pendleton, CA to Terry Lee and Nelda Jean (Ford) Cook. 

The family lived in Flint Hill and Freedom was a graduate of Fort Zumalt North High School. The family moved to Defiance where he lived with his family.  Freedom was a reserved, quiet man who was close to his family.  He enjoyed collecting comic books and loved gaming on his Xbox. 

He truly enjoyed his job as a janitor in the Wright City school, unfortunately he passed away soon after getting the job.

Freedom is survived by his parents, Terry and Nelda and one brother, Trapper, all of Defiance.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Claude and Anna Cook along with Herb and Elaine Ford.

Cremation has taken place and all services were provided by The Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville.
