George Thomas “Tom” Hensler of Warrenton, MO passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Hensler of Warrenton; two children, Greg Hensler and wife, Cathy of St. Peters, MO and Stephanie Turnbeaugh of Florida; three grandchildren, Lindsay and Kyle Hensler and Collin Turnbeaugh; two great grandchildren, Madison and Julian Rivera; four siblings, Robert Hensler and wife, Janet of St. Charles, Frank Hensler of O’Fallon, Shirley Coyne, and Jane Farmer and husband, Jerry of Mountain Home, AR; brothers-in-law, Ed Raney of Wentzville, and Karl Guffey of Florida; other relatives, and many friends.
Tom was born October 8, 1945 in Robertson, MO; son of the late Frank Hensler and wife, Helen Delaghadel Hensler. He was united in marriage to Tina Guffey in St. Louis and two children were born to this marriage. Tom worked a few years at Tasty Bread and then went to work at and retired from Laclede Gas Company in the warehouse for 35+ years. Tom enjoyed working outside and going to the horse racing track.
He is preceded in death by six siblings, Eugene Hensler and wife, Esther, Dorothy Samdoz and husband, Roy, Marion Hensler and wife, Cathy, Ken Hensler and wife, Mary, Betty Frederick and husband, Al, and Alice Raney.
Reception 4-7 following visitation @ Diekroeger Park Wright City, MO more details will be handed out at the funeral home.
